Our sales team was strengthened at the end of 2025 when Satu Mäkelä joined the team.
Satu is a mechanical and production engineer (AMK) and has a strong background in industrial sales. She has worked for Metso (now Valmet) and spent nearly ten years selling control valves to various industries. Before joining Jouka, she also gained experience in the sales of gas alarms, pumps, filters, and blowers. Her existing customer base from her years in valve sales supports her role in domestic sales.
“The team has a clear desire to develop and respond to customer needs. It’s nice to be part of the team,” Satu describes her first impressions.
Jouka was particularly interested in the engineering workshop operations and the company’s own high-quality ball valves. In addition, Jouka highlights agility and fast delivery times as strengths from the customer’s perspective.
In her work, Satu focuses on understanding customer needs and finding effective solutions. She wants to raise awareness of Jouka’s product range and, in particular, the availability of Duplex valves. As a salesperson, she is open, approachable, and builds trust. What inspires her most in her work is learning new things.
